Handicap final, 3 laps, Under 9 to Under 15.
Invitational Keirin
Two heats of 5 riders (races 25 and 26), top 3 from each to the final.
The Wright Family Shield
Created to celebrate excellence in junior and senior handicap racing, and to honour the lasting contribution of Hamish and Amanda Wright to the Mackay cycling community. Hamish has represented Mackay at four Masters World Championships, winning medals in 2018 and 2022, and is a multiple Australian Masters Champion.

Timetable
- 12:00 pm Sign-on opens: licence and helmet check, collect your race number
- 1:00 pm Track open for warm-up
- 2:40 pm Rider briefing (sign-on closes)
- 3:00 pm Racing starts
- After race 28 Presentations at the podium
Race number
One number per rider, worn on your left hip so the officials in the infield can read it. Pin all four corners, and don't fold, cut or cover it. Your number is next to your name under Riders.
After sunset (6:14 pm)
Glasses with under 20% light transmission aren't allowed once the sun has set or the lights are on. Bring a clear lens.
Juniors
Junior gear limits apply in every race, including U17s racing in B and C Grade and the senior handicap. Junior wheels need at least 16 spokes and no more than 45 mm deep on an outdoor track.
Weather
If rain makes the track unsafe, the commissaires will hold or stop racing. The backup day is Sunday 1 November; any change will be announced here and by the club.
Spectators
Free entry. The canteen is open from 1 pm, with the BBQ from 5 pm. Please keep the ambulance entrance clear.
