Jacob King's 4 Points Challenge: A Journey Around Australia for a Cause

On Monday, July 1st, Moranbah local and endurance cyclist Jacob King departed from Mackay Cycles at 7:00 AM, beginning an epic journey to cycle to the four furthest points of the Australian mainland. His goal? 17,000 kilometers in 90 days, all in support of the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

This incredible feat will see Jacob travel to:

  • Cape York (QLD)

  • Steep Point (WA)

  • South Point (VIC)

  • Cape Byron (NSW)

With his father Lee acting as support crew and logistics coordinator, Jacob is aiming to raise $100,000 to help brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families.

🚴 The Challenge:
An unrelenting endurance ride across remote landscapes, tough terrain, and ever-changing weather conditions—all while keeping pace to finish in just 90 days.

🌟 The Cause:
Every pedal stroke supports the work of the Starlight Children’s Foundation, providing happiness, distraction, and support to kids doing it tough.
