When paired with Shimano Di2 and SHIMANO SYNCHRONIZED SHIFT, each bar-end shifter can be programmed to control rear derailleur upshifts or downshifts, while the Di2 system automatically manages the front derailleur for the optimal gear combination. The result is smooth, efficient shifting under load—ideal for racing against the clock.
