Avanti Competitor 2
The Competitor is Avanti's top hardtail, built around a superlight butted 6061 alloy frame with trail geometry and full internal cable routing. The Competitor 2 steps up to an X-Fusion MIG Boost RC air fork with rebound and compression adjustment and a 15x110mm thru-axle, Microshift's XCD 1x11 drivetrain, and Tektro Gemini hydraulic disc brakes.
At Mackay Cycles, we see the Competitor 2 as the pick of the Competitor range for riders who want a hardtail they can keep progressing on — the Boost thru-axle fork is stiffer and more adjustable, and the 11-speed drivetrain gives closer gear steps than the Competitor 1.
