Technologies
Microfibra Microtech - Incorporates features of resistance, stability, lightness, transpirability, water-repellency and eco-friendliness. It is manufactured using the “Water-Tech” water treatment. Lower environmental impact, less noxious emissions into the air and into the work environment and the fact that not solvents, but water-based products were used, is beneficial to the environment as well as the final user.
Soft Instep 2 - The Soft Instep Closure System is a wide, anatomically curved strap combined with a soft, thermo-formed EVA pad that distributes pressure evenly over the instep area. The Soft Instep Closure System is adjustable from both sides, to perfectly center the EVA pad over a high or low instep. The system eliminates the need for the High Instep Extender. The Soft Instep Closure System is replaceable.
Leva Caliper - The micrometric closure called “Caliper Buckle” is adjustable by lifting the central buckle. In order to completely open, lift together both side buckles, or push the center button to slightly loosen one tooth at the time. The system is also adjustable during a race.
High Security Velcro - High Security Velcro straps with integrated locking polymer teeth, that engage onto each other when the strap is closed. This feature makes the closure more secure and the strap becomes unmoveable.
Tallone Sidi - The reinforced heel keeps the foot in a optimal position and avoids the shoe being deformed by extreme performance or prolonged pressure.
Tacco Antiscivolo - For walkability, Sidi cycling shoes include a replaceable polyurethane heel pad
Suola Millenium 5 - The redesigned Millenium 5 Sole is constructed from injected carbon fibre in a nylon matrix. This infusion of carbon fibre in the nylon increases sole stiffness and durability, ensuring optimum performance in the face of prolonged use and temperature changes.
Calzata Mega - 4 mm wider across the ball of the foot. More volume, a high instep and a wider heel cup. Mega lasts are EE o EEE width

Full Shipping Policy
1. General Shipping Information
All online orders are processed and shipped from our Mackay store during normal operating hours (8:30am–5:30pm, Tuesday to Friday). Our goal is to dispatch your order within 24 hours of placement, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Parts, Clothing and Accessories are shipped via Australia Post or other parcel courier. Bicycles, Frame-sets and indoor smart-bike trainers are shipped via specialist bike courier services to ensure they arrive in suitable condition.
2. Warehouse-Supplied Items
Some items on our website are supplied directly from brand warehouses interstate. Where this applies, the product page shows a note such as "Available to Order from [Brand] Warehouse — ships to Mackay Cycles, then ready for Click & Collect or local delivery in approx. 5–7 working days."
These items route through our Mackay store before dispatch, so we can check, pack and freight them properly. Please allow the stated working days for the item to arrive with us before it's dispatched to you.
A small number of items ship direct from the supplier to your address — where that applies, the product page will say so.
3. East Coast Australia Bike Freight
Our $200 flat-rate Bicycle freight, $150 Frame-set freight, and indoor smart-bike freight ($200 Zwift Ride / $400 Wahoo KICKR BIKE), are available to addresses in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania and South Australia. Freight to Western Australia and the Northern Territory is available by quote — please contact us with the item and your address and we will provide a custom quote.
4. Click & Collect at Mackay Cycles
Free in-store pickup is available from 7/8–14 Centurion Drive, Paget QLD 4740. Most online orders are ready within 4 business hours; we'll send a notification when your order is ready to collect. Items not on-floor (typically supplied from interstate warehouses) are not currently available for immediate Click & Collect — they'll be ready for collection once they arrive with us (see Section 2). Click & Collect is available as a separate option at checkout.
5. Freight Insurance
Freight insurance is recommended for shipments valued over $400 and is available on request. Without insurance, claims for damage in transit may not be covered. Contact us before placing your order if you would like insurance added.
6. Custom Orders & Special Requests
We carry over 5,000 products in store and have access to all the major cycling brands. Only a fraction of our range is live on the website. Contact us for special orders, custom builds, quotes and any questions.
