The Crux DSW is more than the lightest alloy gravel bike ever made. We took everything we learned creating the carbon Crux and used our patented D’Aluisio Smartweld to make it a reality in alloy. We’ve created the most capable, nimble, balanced, and responsive alloy gravel bike ever made for fast, fun, high-performance riding. And yeah, it’s the lightest too. Some may call it a carbon copy, but we call it the Crux DSW. Lightest Weight At just 1399 grams*, the Crux DSW is the lightest alloy gravel frame in the world. Combine that with our FACT 12r Crux carbon fork and a build curated for performance, and a complete Crux DSW tips the scales at 9.37kg—no alloy gravel bike can compete. *56cm in the lightest colorway. Production frames will vary. Most Capable More clearance means more capability—that’s why the Crux DSW has the same tire clearance as its carbon sibling—47mm and up to 2.1” on a 650b wheel. Combine this with the tough and light alloy frame, and Crux DSW can take you anywhere you imagine at full gas. Ultra-Responsive Responsive at the pedals. Supple in the saddle. We’ve used D’Aluisio Smartweld to fine-tune the properties of alloy to deliver a ride previously impossible without carbon and combine it with the same performance gravel geometry and race-influenced fit as the carbon Crux. A longer reach delivers better weight distribution for quick, confident handling, while a lower stack creates a performance first position. At 72mm of bottom-bracket drop, we hit the sweet spot between nimble and stable. D’Aluisio Smartweld D’Aluisio Smartweld - or DSW - is a patented engineering process that uses hydroforming to precisely match tube-to-tube joints for better, stronger welds and, ultimately, a lighter frame that can be twice as durable as a traditional alloy frame. Our Smartweld technique helps us create a unique single-piece downtube and bottom bracket for the Crux, shaving weight and amplifying responsiveness. Lightest: 1399g Crux DSW Frame (raw, unpainted). Full Shipping Policy

1. General Shipping Information

All online orders are processed and shipped from our Mackay store during normal operating hours (8:30am–5:30pm, Tuesday to Friday). Our goal is to dispatch your order within 24 hours of placement, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Parts, Clothing and Accessories are shipped via Australia Post or other parcel courier. Bicycles, Frame-sets and indoor smart-bike trainers are shipped via specialist bike courier services to ensure they arrive in suitable condition.

2. Warehouse-Supplied Items

Some items on our website are supplied directly from brand warehouses interstate. Where this applies, the product page shows a note such as "Available to Order from [Brand] Warehouse — ships to Mackay Cycles, then ready for Click & Collect or local delivery in approx. 5–10 working days depending on brand."

These items route through our Mackay store before dispatch, so we can check, pack and freight them properly. Please allow the stated working days for the item to arrive with us before it's dispatched to you.

A small number of items ship direct from the supplier to your address — where that applies, the product page will say so.

3. East Coast Australia Bike Freight

Our $200 flat-rate Bicycle freight, $150 Frame-set freight, and indoor smart-bike freight ($200 Zwift Ride / $400 Wahoo KICKR BIKE), are available to addresses in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania and South Australia. Freight to Western Australia and the Northern Territory is available by quote — please contact us with the item and your address and we will provide a custom quote.

Moranbah local delivery: We deliver to Moranbah (postcode 4744) for a flat $80 via local courier Movin' On With Muttley — just select Local delivery at checkout. Ordering more than one bike? Contact us and we'll sort the delivery.

4. Click & Collect at Mackay Cycles

Free in-store pickup is available from 7/8–14 Centurion Drive, Paget QLD 4740. Most online orders are ready within 4 business hours; we'll send a notification when your order is ready to collect. Items not on-floor (typically supplied from interstate warehouses) are not currently available for immediate Click & Collect — they'll be ready for collection once they arrive with us (see Section 2). Click & Collect is available as a separate option at checkout.

5. Freight Insurance

Freight insurance is recommended for shipments valued over $400 and is available on request. Without insurance, claims for damage in transit may not be covered. Contact us before placing your order if you would like insurance added.

6. Custom Orders & Special Requests

We carry over 5,000 products in store and have access to all the major cycling brands. Only a fraction of our range is live on the website. Contact us for special orders, custom builds, quotes and any questions.
