Bontrager Adjustable Alloy Rear Kickstand - Bracket Mount
The Bontrager Adjustable Alloy Rear Kickstand mounts with a clamping bracket at the rear of the frame, so it fits bikes that have no built-in kickstand mount. The alloy leg adjusts to suit wheel sizes from 24" through to 29", which covers most commuters, hybrids and hardtails regardless of brand.
At Mackay Cycles, we see this as the go-anywhere kickstand — the one to reach for when a bike has plain chainstays and no dedicated mounting boss, around Mackay and beyond.
Which Kickstand Do I Need?
Bontrager makes two rear kickstands and they are not interchangeable. Check the frame where the chainstay meets the seatstay, just behind the cranks:
- No mount, just plain tubing — this is the one you want. The bracket clamps around the stays.
- A flat plate with two threaded bolt holes — your frame has an integrated mount, and you want the Bontrager Integrated Rear Mount Adjustable Kickstand instead.
Trek models with an integrated mount include Marlin 4 to Marlin 7, Marlin+, Dual Sport, FX and Precaliber 24 — those all take the integrated version, not this one.

Full Shipping Policy
1. General Shipping Information
All online orders are processed and shipped from our Mackay store during normal operating hours (8:30am–5:30pm, Tuesday to Friday). Our goal is to dispatch your order within 24 hours of placement, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Parts, Clothing and Accessories are shipped via Australia Post or other parcel courier. Bicycles, Frame-sets and indoor smart-bike trainers are shipped via specialist bike courier services to ensure they arrive in suitable condition.
2. Warehouse-Supplied Items
Some items on our website are supplied directly from brand warehouses interstate. Where this applies, the product page shows a note such as "Available to Order from [Brand] Warehouse — ships to Mackay Cycles, then ready for Click & Collect or local delivery in approx. 5–10 working days depending on brand."
These items route through our Mackay store before dispatch, so we can check, pack and freight them properly. Please allow the stated working days for the item to arrive with us before it's dispatched to you.
A small number of items ship direct from the supplier to your address — where that applies, the product page will say so.
3. East Coast Australia Bike Freight
Our $200 flat-rate Bicycle freight, $150 Frame-set freight, and indoor smart-bike freight ($200 Zwift Ride / $400 Wahoo KICKR BIKE), are available to addresses in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania and South Australia. Freight to Western Australia and the Northern Territory is available by quote — please contact us with the item and your address and we will provide a custom quote.
Moranbah & Clermont delivery: We deliver to Moranbah (postcode 4744) and Clermont (postcode 4721) for a flat $80 via courier — just select Moranbah 4744 & Clermont 4721 ONLY at checkout. Ordering more than one bike? Contact us and we'll sort the delivery.
4. Click & Collect at Mackay Cycles
Free in-store pickup is available from 7/8–14 Centurion Drive, Paget QLD 4740. Most online orders are ready within 4 business hours; we'll send a notification when your order is ready to collect. Items not on-floor (typically supplied from interstate warehouses) are not currently available for immediate Click & Collect — they'll be ready for collection once they arrive with us (see Section 2). Click & Collect is available as a separate option at checkout.
5. Freight Insurance
Freight insurance is recommended for shipments valued over $400 and is available on request. Without insurance, claims for damage in transit may not be covered. Contact us before placing your order if you would like insurance added.
6. Custom Orders & Special Requests
We carry over 5,000 products in store and have access to all the major cycling brands. Only a fraction of our range is live on the website. Contact us for special orders, custom builds, quotes and any questions.
