Schwalbe Albert Radial 29x2.50 Tyre - Gravity Pro, Addix Ultra Soft
The Schwalbe Albert is the German brand benchmark gravity and enduro tyre, and this version uses Schwalbe new radial carcass construction. Unlike a conventional bias-ply casing, the radial layout lets the tyre conform to the trail for a noticeably larger contact patch, delivering more grip, more damping and more control when the terrain gets rough. The aggressive HS641 tread pattern runs closely spaced, supportive lugs that bite into loose and hard-packed surfaces alike, and it is designed to work at both the front and rear of the bike.
The tough Gravity Pro casing brings maximum sidewall protection for hard enduro, downhill and e-MTB use, while the Addix Ultra Soft compound is Schwalbe grippiest and most damped rubber, tuned for the most demanding descents. With an E-50 rating it is approved for e-bike and S-Pedelec use, making it a confident choice for heavy-hitting trail and e-MTB riders.

Full Shipping Policy
1. General Shipping Information
All online orders are processed and shipped from our Mackay store during normal operating hours (8:30am–5:30pm, Tuesday to Friday). Our goal is to dispatch your order within 24 hours of placement, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Parts, Clothing and Accessories are shipped via Australia Post or other parcel courier. Bicycles, Frame-sets and indoor smart-bike trainers are shipped via specialist bike courier services to ensure they arrive in suitable condition.
2. Warehouse-Supplied Items
Some items on our website are supplied directly from brand warehouses interstate. Where this applies, the product page shows a note such as "Available to Order from [Brand] Warehouse — ships to Mackay Cycles, then ready for Click & Collect or local delivery in approx. 5–7 working days."
These items route through our Mackay store before dispatch, so we can check, pack and freight them properly. Please allow the stated working days for the item to arrive with us before it's dispatched to you.
A small number of items ship direct from the supplier to your address — where that applies, the product page will say so.
3. East Coast Australia Bike Freight
Our $200 flat-rate Bicycle freight, $150 Frame-set freight, and indoor smart-bike freight ($200 Zwift Ride / $400 Wahoo KICKR BIKE), are available to addresses in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania and South Australia. Freight to Western Australia and the Northern Territory is available by quote — please contact us with the item and your address and we will provide a custom quote.
Moranbah local delivery: We deliver to Moranbah (postcode 4744) for a flat $80 via local courier Movin' On With Muttley — just select Local delivery at checkout. Ordering more than one bike? Contact us and we'll sort the delivery.
4. Click & Collect at Mackay Cycles
Free in-store pickup is available from 7/8–14 Centurion Drive, Paget QLD 4740. Most online orders are ready within 4 business hours; we'll send a notification when your order is ready to collect. Items not on-floor (typically supplied from interstate warehouses) are not currently available for immediate Click & Collect — they'll be ready for collection once they arrive with us (see Section 2). Click & Collect is available as a separate option at checkout.
5. Freight Insurance
Freight insurance is recommended for shipments valued over $400 and is available on request. Without insurance, claims for damage in transit may not be covered. Contact us before placing your order if you would like insurance added.
6. Custom Orders & Special Requests
We carry over 5,000 products in store and have access to all the major cycling brands. Only a fraction of our range is live on the website. Contact us for special orders, custom builds, quotes and any questions.
