The SCOTT Spark DC 30 is built for riders who want more from every ride. A short-travel platform that brings together cross-country speed and downhill confidence—equally at home on local singletrack as it is on backcountry missions.

Every detail is considered to deliver stability and responsiveness. A low center of mass keeps the ride controlled and planted through flow trails and jump lines. Paired with 140mm front and 135mm rear travel, it provides the range to handle technical terrain and rougher features with ease. The lightweight HMF carbon frame is tuned for cross-country efficiency on the climbs and lively, spirited performance on the descents—a balance of speed and capability that makes every ride rewarding.

Traction, control, and comfort are delivered by RockShox's Pike Select fork and Deluxe Traction shock, both with a custom tune that keeps your wheels planted and your options open for whatever the trail presents. From lunch laps and focused sessions to full weekend adventures, the suspension is engineered to elevate the ride at every turn.

The component spec rounds out a capable, considered, and performance-driven package. SRAM's S1000 Eagle AXS Transmission drivetrain delivers smooth, reliable riding across every condition, while integrated frame storage and a dedicated frame mount make it straightforward to load up for bikepacking and keeping essentials close on longer rides.

Performance also extends to practicality. Improved serviceability and tunability are built into the design, making it easy to keep the bike dialed and riding exactly how you like it—so you spend less time in the workshop and more time focused on the trail ahead.

Full Shipping Policy

1. General Shipping Information

All online orders are processed and shipped from our Mackay store during normal operating hours (8:30am–5:30pm, Tuesday to Friday). Our goal is to dispatch your order within 24 hours of placement, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Parts, Clothing and Accessories are shipped via Australia Post or other parcel courier. Bicycles, Frame-sets and indoor smart-bike trainers are shipped via specialist bike courier services to ensure they arrive in suitable condition.

2. Warehouse-Supplied Items

Some items on our website are supplied directly from brand warehouses interstate. Where this applies, the product page shows a note such as "Available to Order from [Brand] Warehouse — ships to Mackay Cycles, then ready for Click & Collect or local delivery in approx. 5–10 working days depending on brand."

These items route through our Mackay store before dispatch, so we can check, pack and freight them properly. Please allow the stated working days for the item to arrive with us before it's dispatched to you.

A small number of items ship direct from the supplier to your address — where that applies, the product page will say so.

3. East Coast Australia Bike Freight

Our $200 flat-rate Bicycle freight, $150 Frame-set freight, and indoor smart-bike freight ($200 Zwift Ride / $400 Wahoo KICKR BIKE), are available to addresses in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania and South Australia. Freight to Western Australia and the Northern Territory is quoted individually, because cost varies with size, weight and destination. Request a WA/NT freight quote and we'll come back to you with a firm delivery price, usually within one business day.

Moranbah & Clermont delivery: We deliver to Moranbah (postcode 4744) and Clermont (postcode 4721) for a flat $80 via courier — just select Moranbah 4744 & Clermont 4721 ONLY at checkout. Ordering more than one bike? Contact us and we'll sort the delivery.

4. Click & Collect at Mackay Cycles

Free in-store pickup is available from 7/8–14 Centurion Drive, Paget QLD 4740. Most online orders are ready within 4 business hours; we'll send a notification when your order is ready to collect. Items not on-floor (typically supplied from interstate warehouses) are not currently available for immediate Click & Collect — they'll be ready for collection once they arrive with us (see Section 2). Click & Collect is available as a separate option at checkout.

5. Freight Insurance

Freight insurance is recommended for shipments valued over $400 and is available on request. Without insurance, claims for damage in transit may not be covered. Contact us before placing your order if you would like insurance added.

6. Custom Orders & Special Requests

We carry over 5,000 products in store and have access to all the major cycling brands. Only a fraction of our range is live on the website. Contact us for special orders, custom builds, quotes and any questions.
