The S-Works Vent EVO brings the outstanding breathability of our Vent technology industry-leading Body Geometry design off-road. As the newest member of our Vent family, the S-Works Vent EVO goes watt for watt with the S-Works Recon when it comes to performance, durability, and technical innovation. But much like the eyes are the windows to the soul, the S-Works Vent EVO’s ventilated mesh panels are windows to speed and comfort. You’ve heard us say “Cooler Is Faster” before, right? Well, we believe it, which is why we are bringing maximum ventilation to gravel and cross-country with the S-Works Vent EVO. We utilized our advanced engineered mesh to encourage airflow through the toe box, tongue, and medial panel of the shoe, keeping feet cool during even the hardest efforts. We also designed the S-Works Vent EVO to adapt to a broad range of foot profiles with an all-new last shape and innovative material combinations. The engineered mesh and Dyneema® panels work in concert to keep the shoe moving with your foot without restriction. The S-Works Vent EVO fits more feet for more comfort across more surfaces. While the S-Works Vent EVO redefines comfort in a performance gravel and XC shoe, it’s still bringing the race-ready performance features of our World Cup-dominating Recon shoe to the party. Like our Body Geometry sole and footbed technology, scientifically tested to increase power and efficiency while reducing the chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment; and our stiffest and lightest FACT Powerline™ carbon plate to maximize responsiveness and power transfer. Whether you’re lining up on race day or rallying roads and trails for miles of smiles, the increased airflow of the S-Works Vent EVO will put you in a flow state. Built with Purpose. Our Body Geometry trio of the Longitudinal Arch, Metatarsal Button, and Varus Wedge work together to increase efficiency, optimize hip, knee, and foot alignment, and reduce injury risks.

The Vented Mouthport toe box pulls air in through the front of the shoe and channels it around your feet, while the entirely new engineered mesh upper and tongue let that air flow freely throughout the shoe—aiding in both cooling and sweat evaporation. Along with the engineered mesh in the upper, we added a layer of Dyneema® Mesh to keep a strong hold of your foot, ensuring pro-proven power transfer.

Our stiffest and lightest XC FACT carbon plate maximizes power transfer: Stiffness Index 13.0

For power transfer, our PadLock™ heel construction cradles the heel to ensure optimal power transfer. In fact, it’s been scientifically-proven to improve acceleration.

Two independent, alloy BOA® S3-Snap dials backed by the BOA® Lifetime Guarantee so you can fine-tune your level of foot-hold on-the-fly.

Titanium alloy cleat nuts can rotate to position pedal/cleats 5mm rearward.

Full Shipping Policy

1. General Shipping Information

All online orders are processed and shipped from our Mackay store during normal operating hours (8:30am–5:30pm, Tuesday to Friday). Our goal is to dispatch your order within 24 hours of placement, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Parts, Clothing and Accessories are shipped via Australia Post or other parcel courier. Bicycles, Frame-sets and indoor smart-bike trainers are shipped via specialist bike courier services to ensure they arrive in suitable condition.

2. Warehouse-Supplied Items

Some items on our website are supplied directly from brand warehouses interstate. Where this applies, the product page shows a note such as "Available to Order from [Brand] Warehouse — ships to Mackay Cycles, then ready for Click & Collect or local delivery in approx. 5–7 working days."

These items route through our Mackay store before dispatch, so we can check, pack and freight them properly. Please allow the stated working days for the item to arrive with us before it's dispatched to you.

A small number of items ship direct from the supplier to your address — where that applies, the product page will say so.

3. East Coast Australia Bike Freight

Our $200 flat-rate Bicycle freight, $150 Frame-set freight, and indoor smart-bike freight ($200 Zwift Ride / $400 Wahoo KICKR BIKE), are available to addresses in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania and South Australia. Freight to Western Australia and the Northern Territory is available by quote — please contact us with the item and your address and we will provide a custom quote.

4. Click & Collect at Mackay Cycles

Free in-store pickup is available from 7/8–14 Centurion Drive, Paget QLD 4740. Most online orders are ready within 4 business hours; we'll send a notification when your order is ready to collect. Items not on-floor (typically supplied from interstate warehouses) are not currently available for immediate Click & Collect — they'll be ready for collection once they arrive with us (see Section 2). Click & Collect is available as a separate option at checkout.

5. Freight Insurance

Freight insurance is recommended for shipments valued over $400 and is available on request. Without insurance, claims for damage in transit may not be covered. Contact us before placing your order if you would like insurance added.

6. Custom Orders & Special Requests

We carry over 5,000 products in store and have access to all the major cycling brands. Only a fraction of our range is live on the website. Contact us for special orders, custom builds, quotes and any questions.
