The all-new Roval Rapide Cockpit is more than just the fastest way to the finish line — it’s the fastest leading edge Roval has ever created. Designed to put aerodynamic gains where they matter most, in clean air, the Rapide Cockpit shaves 4 watts off the already ultra-quick two-piece Rapide bar and Tarmac SL7 stem combination.

Developed hand-in-hand with WorldTour riders and Retül fit experts, the Rapide Cockpit delivers uncompromising performance. It’s aero, light, stiff, and purpose-built for riders chasing every possible advantage on race day.

Aerodynamic Performance

By removing the traditional stem and handlebar hardware cluster, Roval engineers were able to design a single, uninterrupted airfoil leading edge. This optimized profile delivers maximum aerodynamic benefit at real-world race speeds — from long solo breakaways to full-gas WorldTour sprints.

While four watts may sound modest, over a 250-metre sprint it equates to roughly a 32cm advantage — often the difference between first and second when races are decided by a bike throw.

Lightweight & Stiff

Thanks to its one-piece construction, the Rapide Cockpit is approximately 50 grams lighter (100mm x 420mm) than a comparable two-piece Rapide bar and Tarmac SL7 stem setup. Constructed from premium high-modulus carbon fibre, it delivers exceptional stiffness for the most powerful sprinters, with a stiffness-to-weight ratio that exceeds any two-piece system Roval has produced.

Fit & Rider Integration

One-piece cockpits have traditionally compromised fit, but extensive collaboration with Retül fit professionals ensures nearly every rider can dial in their ideal position. The Rapide Cockpit is available in 15 stem and bar combinations, all with a -6° stem angle, covering a wide range of race-ready setups.

The sculpted transition from tops to drops provides excellent wrist clearance when sprinting out of the saddle or riding in an aggressive aero position, while the bend and flare mirror the proven Rapide bar shape.
