Find Your Specialized Bike Size
Product Details
STATUS 2 ZERO pushes the limits of what a smaller-rider mountain bike can be. Trail bike? Absolutely. Park laps? No worries. Street jib sessions or cruising down to the servo? 100%. This is the bike for young riders who ride everything — and ride it hard.
Whether you're sending Mackay’s local trails, exploring the Finch Hatton MTB network, hitting Sugar Bowl jumps, or carving down any hill with mates, STATUS 2 ZERO is built to ride your way.
Go Big, Start Small
STATUS 2 ZERO is the first purpose-built "core" mountain bike from Specialized designed specifically for smaller riders. With custom-tuned suspension from Specialized Ride Dynamics and size-appropriate components, this bike delivers real performance without compromise.
Built by Riders
A super-strong M5 alloy chassis paired with durable alloy wheels and stout suspension creates a bike that thrives on progression. It’s not built for gram counters — it’s built for riders who send it and come back for more.
Ride Dynamics Tuned
Every STATUS 2 ZERO arrives with a dedicated shock tune from the Specialized Ride Dynamics team. The suspension characteristics are matched precisely to the bike’s kinematics and the needs of smaller riders.
Dial Your Style
A rear-end Horst Link flip chip allows you to fine-tune the geometry. Bikes ship in the “high” position, but a quick flip brings the BB 8mm lower and slackens the head angle by half a degree for a more aggressive feel.
- 100% redesigned, durable M5 alloy chassis
- Updated alloy rims for improved durability
- Horst Link flip chip for geometry adjustment
- New progressive geometry for confident, playful riding
- Curated components for smaller riders
